Bank Holiday Weekend...Naughty!!

Bank Holiday weekends mean one thing for many over 18 - party, drinking, dancing! I hold my hands up and admit I enjoy the odd night out and dancing till my ears cant take the noise anymore. This time round however I missed the bank holiday shenanigans and celebrated my mums birthday with a family BBQ.

I did however purchase some new party shoes so thought I'd share with you the beauties that I'm too scared to wear incase I ruin them (sad I know!)

The beauties are a pearly cream colour and are incredibly comfortable! Wedges are my go to party shoes every time, as I find I can last all night in them without my feet hurting.

They feature a cross over effect and a slightly curved heal. At the back of the heal is a rope tie which makes it easy for you to slip your foot in without the hassle if buckles and zips.

Originally £35, they were reduced to £28 in the Debenhams 20% off sale over the last week. I was luck enough to have vouchers so only ended up paying 20p but I still think £28 is a good price for such high quality shoes!

What's your go to party shoes?

Nivea Lip Butter || Review

Hi sweetie pops!

So I'm the biggest sucker for lip care products. I'm forever trying and testing new ones as my lips just get so dry. If I don't keep my lips hydrated they can suffer from eczema - which believe me is horrible, sore and unattractive.

My all time loves will always be Vasaline and Carmex, but newly added is the Nivea lip butter.

Ive been using it for 2weeks non-stop! It's creamy - almost lotion like texture keeps my lips hydrated all day and feeling baby bum soft! The tins are not the biggest but by no means the smallest either. You get a good amount of product for the price. I'm currently using the Raspberry Rose scented and am loving it. It's not sickly or too artificial smelling! I'm dying to get my hands on the rest of them and will be purchasing them ASAP for £1.99 each.

Let me know if you buy any!

Jewellery storage or Wall decoration?

Oh TKmaxx you have done it again, making me spend my money on your little hidden gems.

This week please welcome my new, shabby chic, jewellery storage. In actual facts this isn't what its meant to be for, it's supposed to be a memory box that you pin memories on to like photos and tickets to places you've been. But as soon as I saw them I automatically imagined my pretty earrings and necklaces all hanging beautifully in them.

I searched for two of the same but ended up in competition with another lady who seemed to be picking them all up, I grabbed two remaining white ones and left her searching for a third. They are made from a beautiful yet sturdy white painted wood, with a glass front and magnetic opening. The detail on them is simple yet looks expensive. They come with a vintage looking padding inside, so all i did was simply hook my earings on. At £10 a piece they may seem a little expensive but they really are worth every penny. If you can't see any in your local TKMaxx check out charity shops and the Range.

What would you put in yours, jewellery or memories?

"Too many hairsprays, so little room"

Every girl I know owns a can of hairspray, body lotion & hair products, and I am defiantly one of them. Infact, I currently have an unnecessary amount of all 3 of these products - that including 7cans of different hairsprays. With this being said, it is safe to say my make up table was looking ever so slightly cluttered. So I've been on the hunt for an in-expensive way to store all my cans and bottles without having to pack them all away separately .

Now, I am a huge fan of Tkmaxx and can spend so much time in there browsing through all the home bits and thinking about what I could do with things, walking down the isle of baskets and boxes I found my little gem. It's perfect in every way, size and colour. It's not to big nor to small, and keeps all my things looking neat and tidy but still allows me to easily see what i want. And the best bit is the price, can you keep it a secret? £5.99!!!

How do you keep all your bits together?

Garnier Body 7Day | Review

Hi lovelies! So I've been abit distant lately but that will all be explained later on with a cuppa. For now though, I wanted to review the new Garnier Body 7Day soothing gel - cream.

Garnier have really out done themselves with this beauty product, for the past 2 weeks I have found myself reaching for this unusual product. When I say unusual I mean it in the best way possible, I was intrigued by the 'Gel-Cream' formula and picked it up when I saw it on offer for half price. It claims to absorb instantly and it really does do what it says on the tin. Just like a cleaning hand gel, it sinks in to the skin without leaving a greasy finish. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated, it works on even my driest areas such as elbows. There is a light aroma when in your hand but once rubbed in isn't that noticeable, I myself like this as sometimes find that they don't always work well with my perfume. The smell isn't sickly sweet, more peachy with a hint of clean cotton. Odd combination I know, but what I mean is it smells fresh and clean.

I really recommend this product for those of you who hate waiting around for your lotions to sink in and the stickiness to go away. Its defiantly going to be a re-purchase!

New Highlighter!

Hi lovelies,

Today's post is going to be short and sweet. In a cheeky browsing spree in superdrug I spotted this gorgeous shimmering highlighter and like most ladies had to have a closer look. As I reached the MUA stand I hoped the product would be as good as it looked from a distance and oh boy was I right!
I swatched it in store and as soon as I had done so I picked one up and headed straight to the counter. At just £3 this highlighter is perfect for summer when you don't want something to heavy but still want to highlight your cheekbones and nose. It's a gorgeous pinky gold tone and is silky smooth, the consistency is lovely and as its a light powder you can build it up depending on how much of a glow you would like. The highlighter is part of their new 'Undress your skin' collection so I'm not sure if its here to stay but go swatch it and see what you think! Xoxo

The Clutch

Hi my little lovlies!

So on a recent trip to Primark I picked up not one, but TWO gorgeous clutches for £8 each. I can't explain to you how impressed I am with the quality of them and the attention to detail that Primark have paid to these. The two clutches that I opted for was a classic black and a summery yellow & white. Both clutches feature gold hardware on the envelope style opening and believe me when I say that I would have happily paid more for both as I can already picture myself using them so much through the summer season. They are NOT small clutches so can be used during day to day travels and nights out. They feature a small gold chain handle that can be detatched from the inside or used to just slip over your shoulder when your wanting to add a subtle touch of glamour to your outfit but keep it looking effortless.

Go grab them before they sell out, because I know they are going to be a huge hit!

What handbag or clutch are you loving at the moment? Let me know xoxox

Hi my little lovlies!

As many of you fashion lovers will know trends will come and go just as the wind changes direction. The Stiletto heel has had many appearence in the past 20Years and now as expected its back and bigger then ever. Searching around to get my hands on a pair, I found that an increasing amount of sites had ridiculously high prices. However, as I was on a mission I didnt let this stop my search, and a little while later I came across these beauties!...

At £17.99 (yes you read correctly) from ebay,  I cant help but debate on getting more then one pair! If plain just isn't your style then they have a wide range of other colours available, from red to two-toned black and lilac - Theres something for everyones taste.
