I thought this would be a nice topic to ease our way into the new weekly feature. Plus its not every day my lovely other half will appear on my blog. So this is his few minutes of 'fame'.
How many of you have a boyfriend/girlfriend? How many of you are married or engaged? How many of you are living with your significant other?
Let me introduce you to Aaron:
We have been together now for 4years and live in our own little home together. I feel very lucky and blessed to have him in my life, despite it all he has been the one to keep me grounded, pick me up when I've hit rock bottom and held my hand on all the twists that life has dealt me. I value all that he does for me and know that, this man, will be my husband one day.
How we met: We met online through a social networking site. As much as I would like to deny it, It was myself who approached Aaron (oops!) I honestly just thought he was handsome and looking through his pictures he seemed fun. So i took the plunge and messaged him, the rest is history.
Our first date: Truth be told, I cannot really remember our first date (sorry Aaron!) but we both remember the day we met clearly. On a summers day in July, Aaron arranged to come over and hang out. We went for a walk to a local playing field and spent the afternoon chatting, listening to music on our phones and having a grass fight. Simple, easy and comfortable.
Date nights: I am a firm believer in romance and even though we live together, date night is still a weekly occurrence. It doesn't always mean spending money and going out, sometimes its simply running me a bath, watching a film or playing board games.
So, tell me about your other half? Do they have any quirks that you adore? Do you have a funny story about how you met? I want to hear it all....
Love Hannah x

Aw this is the cutest post! I think the first time you properly should meet up with someone you like should be like that, mine was similar when I first met up with my boyfriend after we had initially met at a party we were both at. I dunno, I just find going out for a meal or something like that a bit awkward for a first date!

Aw i'm pleased you enjoyed it, thankyou! I agree, first dates in restaurants do not feel comfortable. Not only are you thinking about impressing them ,you wonder who else is looking, youre surrounded by strangers and trying not to drop food down you! How long have you both been together? x
