Faux Fur Style

It seems to me like Faux fur has evolved so much over the years and this year is no different. There are fur trims on jackets as well as an influx of furry gilets. Faux fur items are either a love or hate thing, and personally I'm a huge lover! Theres nothing I love nothing more then pulling out my faux fur gilet and dusting off my faux fur headband.

Available from ASOS;
(This is the same one I currently own)

I feel that a fur gilet can add a really retro or boho feel to the simplest of outfits, from long sleeve floral dresses to plain chifon shirts. The combination of clashing materials and textures works and all you really need is the confidence.  I bought my faux fur gilet last year for £16.00 from Primark and can safely say I wore it to death but there are some really lovely ones set to come out in the next few weeks from the likes of Miss Selfridge and Newlook, so keep your eyes peeled.

This A/W I'm on the hunt for the perfect faux fur hat! Id ideally like one that comes in a combination of mixed browns or light golden tones. However, I have set my heart on two from Accessorize, but cant decide on which I like more, a gorgeous caramel or a chocolate brown. Which do you like the best?

I predict that faux fur will be trickling into stores from now on, Fingers crossed Primark jump on the hat bandwagon this season.

I would never wear real fur, I just couldn't do it, It kinda makes me feel a little sick inside! Theres something about fur that I just simply cannot agree with. I think alot of people nowadays wouldn't wear real fur, The whole real fur/faux fur is a MASSIVE debate in fashion, But I would hate someone to judge me for liking the way faux fur looks.

What are your thoughts? Are you going to be wearing some faux fur this autumn winter, or even real fur if your that way inclined? Let me know your feelings!
